Carspotting: 1929 Chrysler Series 75

This oldtimer, owned by an oldtimer, was parked outside the barber shop this morning.  The owner says parts, like the light bulb, are difficult to come by.  More on 1920s Chryslers here.

Carspotting: Citroen GS with interesting owner

We passed by a garage sale this morning and spotted this GS.  I stopped and asked the presumed owner on the driveway if he minded me snapping photos of the Citroen.  After a brief chat, I discovered that the guy I'm talking to is none other than Jaan of Eddins Moto!  What are the chances?

Carspotting: Volvo S80 safety car

This is one of those cars that you recognize from a mile away.  With all those yellow reflective stickers, I notice it almost every time I see it when I'm in downtown Berkeley.

It reminds of Alyssa Milano's safety car in Who's the Boss?

It's a small miracle that the car is still alive.  When was the last time you saw an S80, with its transmission and electrical woes?
