Lamborghini Super Trofeo Stradale - A Gallardo Too Far?

Lamborghini just can't stop churning out the new models of the Gallardo platform. We can forgive them for the huge upgrade from the original Coupe and Spyder to the LP560 models, and then of course the 2-wheel-drive LP550 Balboni, then the LP570 Superleggera, and what's not to love about chopping the roofs off the last two for the LP570 Performante and LP550 Spyder, and then they made the Blancpain, and then they have made yet another new one; the LP570 Super Trofeo Stradale. I think you probably get my point, the list just goes on and on.

The Super Trofeo Stradale however is pretty immense:

The rear view especially stands out with the huge wing attached over the new engine bay design:

The car is obviously fairly capable but I'll let EVO's Roger Green tell you more about it:

The Gallardo has a great design, from the front end all the way through to the rear so it will be very interesting to see what Lamborghini do eventually bring along next, but for now this is certainly one to enjoy.
