Rift at Aston Martin, CEO Bez on the way out?

Rumours are reaching Shmee-towers that the new Aston Martin Vanquish is causing a rift in the ranks.

As we all know AM showed us the Project 310 car at this year's Villa d'Este car show in Italy. In theory a concept to gauge reaction before the model launches later in the year.

However since then a mysterious silver version of the car wearing a Vanquish badge has surfaced:

It's been discussed in online message boards that Ulrich Bez, the CEO of Aston Martin is unhappy with the new car.

However, latest gossip arriving seems to be that the unsanctioned images that leaked showing the badge and the way the car's launch is being handled is causing a rather serious controversy. This may result in huge changes at the top of the company including a change at CEO level.

Performance figures floating around the web are suggesting this new car will have just 573hp but the latest we're hearing is that it will actually break the 600hp barrier.

Potentially the drama at HQ is over the premature release in what could well be a new Aston that gives it's mega-bigger-brother, the One-77, a run for its money so soon after launch?

You heard it here first!
