FAKE Gumballer's Stickers are Removed

Some of you may have noticed that a 'fake' was trying to take part in this year's Gumball 3000.

In particular it's a Ferrari 360 Spider, the owner had his car wrapped and drove the route with the Gumballers although he wasn't officially registered and certainly hadn't paid the entry fee.

This is how he turned up on the first night in New York city before being embarrassingly rejected from the grid. (When yours truly pointed out to the crew that he wasn't a legit car - to someone like me it's obvious!)

However he wasn't done there!

The next step was to revise his stickers and almost overnight he had a new set of stickers printed including the numbers that would more accurately represent the design of the Gumball cars which he'd then try and go by the number '00'.

This worked in many locations because with new Gumball crew at each stop they didn't know to look out for him trying.

However, at the Indy 500 car park, when he sneaked into the event and the Gumball section without any ticket or authorisation the crew could do nothing but strip his stickers.

That would stop him going any further for sure!
